Clients may access venue the day before event date from noon-6:00pm for decorating & rehearsal. Use of venue on event date from 9am – 11:30 pm. Venue rental includes 30-60” Round Tables, 250 Fruitwood Chivari Chairs, 6-8’ Tables (All for indoor use only). Venue rental includes use of outdoor ceremony sites, On-Site Parking, Prep Kitchen, Bridal & Groom Suites, & Outdoor Patio. Photo Shoots can be done prior to event by appointment. Clients may use the Pedernales River (2 min away) for photo shoots as well.
Our venue was designed to accommodate small or large weddings/events. The inside ballroom may accommodate up to 300-350 guests depending on layout. With the right layout, the ballroom may accommodate smaller, more intimate weddings as well. The inside ballroom may also be set-up for corporate retreats with a projector screen & projector for presentations. The 50 x 70 patio may accommodate the ceremony, cocktail hour, or just for guests to enjoy the outdoors during the reception. This patio can be tented too. The outside grounds in front & back of the venue was designed to accommodate large tents, staging, etc. – close enough to venue for a great, easy flow.
Featherstone Ranch will allow the use of any vendor with the exception of rentals – client must use Class A Event Rentals (www.classarentals.com) for rentals.
You may use Class A Event Rentals for all your rental needs. Discounts will be given to clients who book their event at Featherstone Ranch. Client responsible for contracting set-up/tear-down of ceremony through Class A Rentals.
Featherstone Ranch has many outdoor beautiful ceremony sites. You may use the indoor space for the ceremony in case of rain. You may also tent the 50 x 70 patio area for inclement weather.
You may select any full service caterer. If they are not full service, then you must contract with an Event Staffing Company. This will ensure that your event will have the full service catering experience as well as meet our cleanup requirements.
You may purchase & bring in your own alcohol. You may contract with Featherstone Ranch to serve alcohol. Featherstone Ranch will provide you with a quote for this service. Clients may also contract with a Bar Service Company for alcohol service; however, there are some requirements that must be met. No self service for alcohol. There is a 5 Hour Alcohol Serving Time for Event Date.
Featherstone Ranch requires 1 security guard for every 150 guests. We may also require parking attendants as well. Featherstone Ranch will hire the security officers and parking attendants.
The caterer, bartender, & client are responsible for busing tables & removing all trash to dumpster. Client & vendors also responsible for removing all personal belongings & decorations. Any spills on the floors must be cleaned. The client is responsible for leaving the facility in good condition. Any rentals from Class A Event Rentals may be left at venue at one central location.
You may bring in your own decorations, but cannot be installed in a way that will damage the venue – no tacks, staples, nails, glue guns, tape, etc. Anything that requires hanging with a ladder, must be approved by venue. Ceiling draping can be done through Class A Event Rentals.

Yes. There is a sound system that you can use for background music or with portable microphone for speeches. DJ’s or bands do not use the venue sound system as they bring their own.
Yes. Music must end by 10:45.
Yes, there are properties within 10 minutes of Featherstone Ranch. These properties sleep large groups. There also many hotels, B&B’s, Lodges, etc., 15 minutes away in Fredericksburg. There are also many shuttles services that can transport guests to and from venue.
You can hire Class A Event Rentals or Featherstone Ranch to add lighting such as string lights, chandeliers, etc. to outside areas.
